Constitution Queen, Court visit D.C.

Constitution Court in DC
From the left are Court members Hannah Hohman, Jessica Agnone, Tessa Monter, Queen Erika Schrade, Danielle Palutsis and Samantha Gronow in front of the White House.

Each year the Constitution Queen and Court raise money throughout the year by sponsoring car washes, cookie sales, the Queen’s Ball etc. so they can spend time with our Representative in Washington. The trip each year is arranged by the Chairperson of the Pageant who plans an itinerary which should include a visit to the building which houses the Constitution. The girls enjoy this trip immensely and share many stories with family and friends when they return.

Some comments from Court members include the following – Samantha Gronow: “I had an exceptional time in America’s national capital with the rest of Louisville’s 2014 Constitution Court. I loved touring the city and seeing the monuments and artifacts which represent the United States.”

Miss Congeniality Hannah Holman: “I loved seeing all of the monuments that represented such a big part of our history. I also loved getting to spend time the with other five court members and create memories.

”Danielle Palutsis: “The DC trip was definitely a memorable experience I will not forget. We received some VIP access in the Capitol buildings and the royal treatment from other visiting tourists request- ing our pictures. I’ll always remember this trip, especially since I got to spend my birthday with some amazing girls!”

Queen Erika Schrade: “Given the opportunity to travel to such an important place in our country was an incredible experience for me to learn so much history about our country. I had the best time with the girls, and my favorite part was our amazing “VIP” tour of the Capitol Building. I would like thank the Constitution Committee for giving me the opportunity to go to Washington, D.C.”
